Let's talk about bourbon.

Seriously, this stuff is amazing. The new "small batch" series, put out by the finest bourbon manufacturers in the world - it's truly an exciting time to be a bourbon fan.

Oh NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Sacrilege!!!!!!!

Guess they're being a little more economical in whiskey production -- there was Jack Black (Old No.7) at 86 proof and Jack Green Label at 80 proof.

Most popular drink in Germany = Jack Black and Coke. Followed by Asbach Uralt (a brandy) and Coke.

Hmmm... gotta try it with ginger ale...

When I was in Louisville, I met a guy from Makers Mark. We had a bourbon sampling one night and mint juleps. Can't say I enjoy the stuff.

Well you've hit on the second most popular mix we do up here in Canada... although we call it Rye - so Rye & Coke or Rye & Ginger are the two big mixes you here ordered at bars... me I prefer the Ginger Ale mix

The "small batch" series isn't so new. I've had Basil Hayden or Knob Creek in my bar for a few years now. My husband likes them... I find Basil Hayden isn't bad, but I'm a martini drinker by and large.
