my kitty ran away
The bad roommate came home while I was at class and the good roommate was running errands... and the cats "bolted out the door" when he came home.
Flaquita came back cuz she's pregnant and wanted to sleep ontop of one of the bar fridges.
Phydeaux- was last seen exploring behind our house- my good roommate and I tracked him for awhile but he kept running and hiding when we got near him.
:-(
So now I'm trying to study for a test in a crappy mood. I want my kitty back!

This site has tons of helpful information. Leaving food out is a great idea -- when Xochitl ran away once, she came back for the food and then just walked back into the house like nothing ever happened. I was so happy to have her back I couldn't stay mad at her.

I put some food out for him by the door and I've had the door open a bit all evening to see if he'll come back.
To help him find his way home I've put a small container with some of the litter (with some clumps) from the litter box by the steps, and for the evening prego-cat is in her cat-carrier by the door so that her pathetic meows attract Phydeaux home.

You know, T., you say you never want to have kids but it sounds to me like you already have them. They're just furry and have paws instead of feet!
