Let us bow our heads and pray that the show to honor Smokey does justice to his musical career.
((saying under breath)) Not like that hot mess tribute they gave Stevie Wonder.

So far, the performances have been great! It's about time they had a good Walk of Fame!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Wanya was an Omega. Well, that's what I heard.

CONGRATS to Smokey !!!!
Everyone did a great job performing his songs...... ESPECIALLY New Edition!!! However, I don't like the pink shirt and tie thing... but that's just me.....
On another note.... I heard the same thing that Wanya Morris was an Omega Man..... imagine my surprise when I saw the Alpha Crest!!!
I asked Mr. zetafg (an Alpha man) to check that out and let a sista know.....
All in all it was a good show!!!

Hey Soror, if you are talking about Wanye Morris, he is an Omega.

OMG, I thought this was the best show. I enjoyed basically everyone, but my group New Editon were good, and I liked Floetry and how they performed. I also really liked the the singer from Floetry and Gerald Levert.
Smokey sang all the songs I really like, and I really wanted to hear Cruising, and he sang that...now if he would just get rid of that hair. I was cracking up because he still does the same dance move that he has always done. Again, I really enjoyed last nights show.

I forgot that it came on, but I did catch the last few minutes.
I LMAO at the people in the audience. They were really FEELING Smokey.
He's GREAT!

I seriously don't think that was an Alpha crest on Wanya's jacket. I've noticed a lot of clothing companies (Rocawear, Ecko, etc) are using Greek inspired enblems/crests. So it could just be that the brand he was wearing has a symbol that resembles the Alpha crest.
NE was OC for those suits. Too bad Johnny's voice was cracking. Ralph is starting to look his age.
Mad I missed Joss Stone but I'm sure BET will show this 80x.
The chic from Floetry has a BEAUTIFUL voice. Why isn't she solo??
Gerald Levert will forever remind me of a dirty old man.

New Edition: I need for Ricky Bell to NEVER sing lead again. NEVER EVER.
I think the woman from Floetry (the songstress) has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard in quite some time. The sista doing the speaking (floacist) was throwing off my groove.
Can somebody get Gerald Levert a steady job? That brother has been on three consecutive walk of fames. Gerald: Church's Chicken is always hiring. And I never want to see you smack your own butt again. NEVER. EVER.
John Legend was pretty good until he started singing out of his range. It's nice to see musicians again.
Christina Milian: Uhhhhh...NO!
It was so cute when the camera would pan the audience and you would see the older couples all hugged up and singing.

Yes, NE was ..... shall I say.... SPECIAL????
Johnny's voice was just not good..... JG ... a little lemon juice, hot sauce, a raw egg and two altoids will get rid of that tickle in your throat ... LOL
AND
You are funny...... Gerald Levert was too comical for me.

NE did a great job but Mike Bivens looked a little tired
Gerald Levert- extra as usual but I did enjoy the Ebony Eyes performance with the girl from Floetry
John Legend did a great job too
Speaking of Gerald hasn't he been on all these Walk of Fame tributes??

Ya'll better stop talking about my boys NE. I actually love me some back ground singer Ron.
John Legend was pretty good until he started singing out of his range. It's nice to see musicians again.
I must admite when he started doing what he thought was singing, I was like dude, stop the yelling.

OMG, wasn't it though. Did you see the one couple that was actually hugged up dancing?
