Demon Island (aka "Piņata" aka "Piņata: Survival Island")

Has anyone else seen this movie?
It's like a Greek version Survivor with a mass-murdering monster after them.

Some of the made-up GLOs include:

Beta Chi Omicron
Delta Lambda Delta
Chi Nu Kappa
Omega Beta Zeta

Has a lot of "no name actors & actresses" from movies like Dead Man on Campus and Not Another Teen Movie and from TV shows like Buffy and Star Trek Voyager.

I've seen this movie many, many times.

I actually helped the producers/directors with some of the promotional stuff at the very beginning of this project (it was an independent release), it was filmed in 1999/2000. Some of the special effects are much improved from the beginning. Its a little gory and a bit scary.

It really has nothing to do with greeklife at all, except that the participants are greek.

Nick Brendon (Xander on BtVS) meet is wife Tressa DiFiglia (Connie) on the set of this movie.

It enjoyable for a non-thinking, throwback to the .50 cent movies of the old days.

Which is a portrayal 1000 times better than 90% of movies that have characters playing fraternity and sorority members.
