in a writing class, we were supposed to yell out potential topics for argument and persuasion papers while a student wrote it on the board. someone yelled out "euthanasia" and the boy at the board wrote "youth in asia"
When I was student teaching last fall, I recommended echinacea to a student of mine who kept getting colds. After school the next day, she came back to me and said, "I told my mom that you suggested euthanasia for my cold, and she got really upset."
I giggled, then jotted her mom a quick note of apology... *shakes head*

Now THAT'S funny!! Although I can think of a few students and teachers at my school who could use euthanasia. (I know, that's mean....tinydancer hangs her head in shame)
