How should you vote
A friend sent me this link:
http://selectsmart.com/president/
It asks a few questions about policy, and you can rank how important each is to you, and then it matches you with each candidate and how much you agree with them. She said she was surprised by her answers.. I wasn't at all with mine.
Thought some of you might be interested
edited to fix the link

Interesting to say the least... much like the site I posted for the Canadian elections earlier this year...
Well here are the results
1. Your ideal theoretical candidate. (100%)
2. Clark, Retired General Wesley K., AR - Democrat (73%)
3. Moseley-Braun, Former Senator Carol, IL - Democrat (70%)
4. Dean, Gov. Howard, VT - Democrat (69%)
5. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (67%)
6. Gephardt, Rep. Dick, MO - Democrat (65%)
7. Edwards, Senator John, NC - Democrat (63%)
8. Lieberman, Senator Joe, CT - Democrat (37%)
9. Bush, President George W. - Republican (23%)
I was interested to see that Wesley Clark scored so high; I always liked him from the impression he made on many programs before he entered the race.
I was also interested to see how closely my responses compared to other Canadians, Britons, or Australians - and ultimately how theose responses compared to the "average" American response.
All in all an interesting site - I was greatly impressed by the ability to examine the demographics for the responses.

Interesting- I think because of where my concerns with the government are right now that that skews where some candidates are on this list. Case in point: I despise Nader but he ranked higher than Badnarik, whom I would vote for if I lived in solid Kerry-state.
Dean ranked 3rd for candidates which doesnt surprise me since I worked for him for 6 months.
