Cheney warns against vote for Kerry

By AMY LORENTZEN
ASSOCIATED PRESS WRITER

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Vice President Dick Cheney said Tuesday that the nation faces the threat of another terrorist attack if voters make the "wrong choice" on Election Day, suggesting that Sen. John Kerry would follow a pre-Sept. 11 policy of reacting defensively.
DONT VOTE FOR KERRY OR A CITY WILL EXPLODE?

I mean actively lying is one thing, but the dude is threatening that if i vote for kerry, Americans will die at the hands of terrorts.

I believe his point was that his opponents were weak and could not be trusted to be strong and constant in their opposition to terror. I think it was a good point. Kerry has a history of changing his opinion on terror and he almost certainly would if another terrorist act occurred. That was his point. Come on, how silly is your interpretation?

Cheney:
"It's absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States,"

How else should one interpret this statment? I'm sorry but this is scare tactics no matter which way you look at it.

Cheney is the Administrations Pit Bull. This time, though, he's gone too far.

I find it morally reprehensible to make this kind of statement. Almost as reprehensible as the attacks on Kerry's war record.

I haven't seen so much dirty and mean spirited stuff in a campaign since Nixon's re-election.

This whole thing makes me sick.

Actually he is not threatening anything. He cannot control that. Kerry is seen as weaker on terror than Bush and that raises the risk of terrorist attacks on America.

France is seen as weaker than America and that does not raise the risk of attack on France.

Hey Rudey... do you even realise the irony of this post? In accusing me of of bashing America, you once again bashed Canada. May I point out this is a violation once again by yourself of the TOS and common decency.

I have openly stated that I am disgusted by Bush, the current Administration and their policies; why? Because as a foreign citizen I deplore their foreign policy as it has affected me and those I care about... just as I am aprehensive about some of the stated policies of the Kerry/Edwards ticket as it applies to foreign policy.

Can you stop lying for one second? You are the world's biggest liar. Nobody bashed Canada. Please stop lying. Making these types of false accusations is against the TOS just like when you said you wanted to gut and kill me.

Again you are not American and have no voice in our election and also have bashed America beyond the current administration.
