The cat came back, she couldnt stay away
So last Monday my roommate and our friend that we're letting stay at our house until he can get back on his feet came home and the friend left the door open and one of our 2 cats got out... when he went chasing after her he scared her away. So for the last 10 days I've been keeping an eye out for her and so has my roommate.
Flaquita came home today. I was just coming up from the basement from starting a load of laundry when I heard a loud meow. I knew it couldnt be Phydeaux by the pitch and volume.
Low-and-behold: there was a white cat with brown splotches outside.
So we have 2 kitties again.

He has a spiked collar and a bone-shaped ID tag.

she lost a lot of weight while she was gone, so I dont think she ate anything. So we're keeping her seperate from Phydeaux when we feed her. And Flaquita only gets a little at a time right now- we dont want her to gorge herself and get sick.

That's great the kitty is back. By the way, totally unrelated but the spike collar thing made me think about this girl I saw in the mall yesterday....she had on spiked FLIP-FLOPS. Totally freaky..............

My roommate is hispanic and the cat was skinny when he got her, so he named her Flaquita (little skinny)

I am glad to hear your cat came home!
How is she doing since she returned?
Phydeaux and Flaquita are interesting kitty names!

Falquita has been quiet since she came back- just napping and lounging. My roommate needs to take her to the vet when his loans come through to find out if she's pregnant or not.
She and Phydeaux are getting along a lot better than before she left.

I'm glad your kitty came back. My Rosebud did the same thing and stayed gone for 2 weeks. Actually, he stayed around the house but would not come back in and wouldn't let me catch him. One morning at 4 a.m. he just walked across the deck and meowed at the door and strolled right in like he had good sense!
