Help! Nail Polish incident on tile!!!
I'm moving and was unpacking the bathroom at the new place. I dropped a bottle of red nail polish and it broke, splattering the white tile and wall. HELP!

Try Goo Gone or Oxyclean. That stuff worked wonders in my dorm room when I spilled cranberry juice all over the floor.

Regular nail polish remover should take it off the tile. Just make sure to mop really well afterwords.
I would think it would work on the wall, too, is it just regular plaster/sheetboard? (ie. a normal wall). I'd get as much off as you can with that, and then buy a "Mr. Clean Magic Eraser" (I promise I'm not stealth marketing). They really are magic... that should take care of the rest.

One wall is stucco, the other is flat. I'll try the Mr. Clean Eraser on the flat one, but I think I will have to paint over the stucco... whew! Talk about stress! I got it out of the tile with nailpolish remover and bleach, and the baseboards, too. Baseboards are still a little stained.

Don't I wish! We already did the move-in walk through...
And it was a favorite color, too.... OPI Cara Mia Crimson (although I daresay it looks much better on my toes than splattered in my bathroom!)

Bumping b/c I just did this too! My tile is now smeared w/OPI I'm Not Really A Waitress. I love this damn color & broke it & it landed on my tile, grout (hubby was pissed at that one), carpet, & cherry cabinetry. Damn. I'm more upset about losing the polish so I now have to replace it.

omg, aren't they?! i have all white counter tops in my apartment, and lord knows everything messes those up! I mean seriously, I left a plastic bag from like...kroger or something on my counter, and when i moved it, i literally had "KROGER" plastered on my counter top, lol. I used the mr. clean extra strength cleansing pads, and within 10 minutes it was gone! Actually, they made my counters whiter all around:P I like that though, lol.

Where does one get these magical Mr. Clean Magic Erasers? I've always been a Goo Gone Girl.
