something cool

So today starts my second week of teaching. (This is my first yera to teach). ANYWAY...........today this girl walks in wearing a "Tech ADPi" shirt. She's a sophomore in high school mind you. I asked her if her sister was an ADPi and she said yes, so I told her to tell her sister that her history teacher is also an ADPi. : ) Anyone from EE on here? Maybe you know her............... PM me if so.

So do you know her peanut? How cool is that! I wish I had a job with that potential-- I guess I just have to stick with co-workers-- so far all I have is someone who shares our office space is a Delta Gamma and her daughter is a Kappa Alpha Theta-- and my boss's son was a Pi Kappa Alpha!

Penaut I pmed you. The teaching is great so far. I have sophomores, and most people think I'm crazy but I LOVE it!! I love that age group. I'm looking forward to teaching government some day. This is my first year and so I have a "mentor" teacher. His name is Mr. Reyna and he's the government teacher. He's done the retire rehire thing I believe. Anyway, he calls me kid and I call him old man and I always ask him how he's feeling because I want his job!!! It's great!! I'm also coaching 3 sports so I'm pretty pooped. But yah hoo for me for making it through!!

bummer....i don't know her. i graduated in dec. 01....so she has pledged since i've been gone. i'm not really in the lubbock area anymore, so i rarely make it out there. too bad though, that would have been neat!!!

i checked on pride online, but i don't see a Weber (i guess she hasn't registered yet).
