Other congressional campaigns

So Obama is getting lots of attention and sounds like he'll win since Jack "I like the sex clubs" Ryan dropped from the GOP slot and the new guy doesnt have much name recognition.

But what about other Congressional races? Anything else sounding like a heated race yet?

I've heard Richard Morrison is running a good race against Tom DeLay down in TX 22.
And Nancy Farmer is getting some good ground in the US Senator race in Missouri.

What is Daschle's race looking like? I have a huge huge crush on one of his research assistants.

The race for Senate in Wisconsin should be a close one - Russ Darrow, a used car dealer, is challenged incumbed Russ Feingold (D) and as I'm sure we're all well aware, Wisconsin is a swing state.

It'll be a fight here in Oklahoma. We have Dr. Tom Coburn (a Sigma Nu) vs. Brad Carson -- a Democrat who has tried to distance himself as far as possible from his party. To the extent that he's a card carrying NRA member.

Should be a war of who's the most conservative.

I know many Democrats who are members of the NRA. Could be a rural-democrat thing, but I'm not positive on that. Hell- if I had a rifle I'd join. I just gots my BB-gun and pellet-gun for shooting skunks in the ass.

The 2 names I keep reading in the op-eds and hearing on Radio America are Steven Rauschenberger and John Cox. Neither has had the national spotlight like Obama has received recently and I think the longer the GOP waits to replace Ryan (who is still on the ballot?!?!), the more this will hurt their chances of beating Obama.

Perhaps you've realized your mistake by now?

"and the new guy doesnt have much name recognition"

There is no new guy yet.

Oh I see, so when you use the pronoun "he" it refers to someone that doesn't exist and you knew that from the beginning so that's why you called the imaginary person that doesn't exist "the new guy".

No, she would never condescend to marry a FIB. Well-educated women know better.
