All Greeks - Prereqs

I would love to hear from members of any and all Greek organizations on this. If your organization has Alumni/Alumnae Initiation, Graduate Intake, etc. is there an educational prerequisite?


I'll start! To be considered for GAP membership in Theta Nu Xi, you must AT LEAST have a Bachelor's degree.

Pi Beta Phi requires candidates for AI to have "matriculated" at an accredited 4-year institution. There is not a degree/ graduation requirement, just that you were accepted and studied at the university level.

Alpha Phi doesn't have an educational requirement (but sometimes I wish we did).

AOII - Completion of at least one year of college. Depending on the circumstances, it may be waived by a vote of the Executive Board.

For Zeta Phi Beta, to be in a GRADUATE chapter you must be a GRADUATE.

Gamma Phi Beta Alumnae Initiates are not required to have ever attended college.

Alpha Delta Pi requires prior educational experience, but do not require their graduation. If, however, they didn't have educational experience, professional work experience may be considered. Also, AI potentials must be 25 years of age and no longer enrolled as an undergraduate at a university.

**Age exceptions may be made
