Buddhism?
So- in an effort to make my summer be worth something besides work and recruitment, I've decided it might be interesting to learn a bit more about Buddhism and Buddhist philosophy.
Any good books, websites or other resources?

Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind by Shunryu Suzuki is good.

I've read up on this more than I care to admit to. There are different types of Buddhism. I suggest you pick up as many book as you can. believe me, you'll get lost in all of them when you see how much there is. *Note* I'm a practicing Catholic but was interested in knowing as much as I could about the whole life style of a buddhist. While I dont agree with everything, there are many things about buddhism I do agree with as far as personal growth in certain areas of your life. I admit, I ended up going on a zen macrobiotic diet there for awhile. While on it, I may have felt the best ever. The thing is, though, its hard a phuck to sit there and eat brown rice for any length of time for me. I'm a meat eater.
