The award announcement video is available on the website for anyone who is curious who the Balfour winner or Chapters of Excellence are! The entire presentation is 18 minutes and it is all of the alumnae and chapter awards for 2004!

I had to tell everyone had my chapter did!

We received Honorable Mention (along with Idaho Alpha) for the Westchester
Award (Large school, most improved GPA) and as well as the Centennial Award
(Outstanding Fraternity Orientation Programming).

We also received the Pi Beta Phi Spirit Award (along with 9 other schools) for
a chapter who exemplifies unity, participation, and spirit.

FYI...
The winner of the Balford Cup this year was CA Alpha, Stanford University.

Congrats to the winners, I was pleased to notice that the Alum club from Cincinnati won an award since I claim Cincy as my hometown.

Katherine MacArthur is a star Pi Phi and a MO Beta to be proud of... this is not her first international award... she won the VP Mental award last year, too.

since I judge that one, I remembered her name when they read it!

And just for anyone who thinks that award winners are dynasties and the top chapters are always the same... CA Alpha (our Balfour chapter) was *not* Top Ten last year. ANYONE with a lot of hard work CAN be Balfour!!
