Adviser Recognition

How does your organization recognize its Advisers/House Board Members/other volunteers who work with your chapters?

Does your organization have any sort of pin or dangle that denotes the office of adviser? Any other types of recognition designations?

There is an alum recognition pin. I don't think one has been given yet in my chapter.

Alpha Gamma Delta has the Chapter Advisor dangle, not sure about other advisors. For honors, there are the Honors of Epsilon Pi and the Heart of Alpha Gamma Delta. I'm very proud that I have an Arc, a Heart and CA dangle.

Alpha Sigma Alpha has:

Mother Patroness Pin (for Female advisors, or chapter Moms)


And the Phoenix Recognition Pin (for Sweethearts and Male Advisors)

We have a dangle for advisory board members, another for alumnae and another one housemothers. I'd never seen the last one before until I checked out website earlier today.

We have dangles for each of the undergrad officers, and I know the Supreme Executive Committee (our highest exec board) has different variations of the badges signifying their positions.

As far as other alum volunteers; I can't think of anything, maybe the other Kappa Sigs on the board can help.

The last time I checked, we have the generic Chapter Advisor and Advisory Board dangles.


Question: my initiation pin is white gold, but I prefer yellow gold. I do have a yellow gold pin. Should I just have my dangles put on my yellow gold pin?

I believe we have advisor dangles and Alumni Board member dangles.
