I love rainbow brite when i was young but I am not young anymore!! lol......what is your opinons?? no bashing here please!!

Not bashing the gay movement at all, but I think the rainbow pattern was ruined for everyone else because it's been adopted as their symbol.
I dated a girl for awhile that had a rainbow colored bellybutton ring. A lot of people apparently took it as a symbol of her gayness (which I can attest was just not true).

lol ktsnake, you have wandered into a girly thread. I think she means the pattern on this purse
which has spawned about 10,000 knockoffs. It also comes in a black background. It's nothing to do with gays using the rainbow, she's saying it's gay as in ghey.
It was cute the first time I saw it but now it and all its knockoff bastard children need to die, die, DIE.

I never liked that bag to begin with. I hate even more now it's the purse Jessica Simpson has.

The pattern on the white background looks like it belongs on a diaper or a crib bumper or something else for babies. Plus, it's white, yet I've seen women carrying it out of season (yes, I'm a stickler for the no-white-before-Memorial-Day-or-after-Labor-Day rule). Also, I think it looks really cheap, even on the real Vuittons. Finally, I have to agree with Lady Pi Phi - if Jessica has it, it must be cheesy.

Is a very odd pattern, IMO. I prefer the classic LV or the Damier check or Epi leather.
LV bags are extraordinarily vulnerable to knockoffs or mutations. Look at the "Dooneykami" bags, otherwise known as Dooney & Bourke's It bag. I read somewhere that Louis Vuitton's owner, LVMH, sued Dooney for copyright infringement.

I never liked these because to me they just screamed "look I have a LV bag!!!", and the Dooney&Bourke one were similar but the "poor girls" version. I care for it less in black, but wouldn't carry the white one other than in summer, if it was my style. Ditto on the Jessica Simpson bit.
I saw some girls carrying them on campus before you could get them, and a woman in Walmart as well. I like to call those...MuraFAKEYs
It just seemed kind of goofy. The people at that point in time who would recognize the pattern and design, would also recognize that it wouldn't be real. I'm just burn out on "signature prints" all around.

Hahahaha! I don't know why, but this made me laugh so hard I'm crying.
Anyways, I agree w/ angelove. The bright rainbow patterns remind me too much of a diaper bag or something, I don't know. That's actually why I've found I like Dooney & Bourke better - all the stuff that I've seen is more neutral (although I did see some bright colors the other day in Nordstrom).
I also agree w/ aurora_borealis, I am so sick of the logos slapped on everything! Enough already!
