what do you think about pledges just using rush week to get freebies like free dinner, free activities, free give away times, even bid day stuff (then drop), etc.............

At our school it costs $50 per girl to rush. And that really doesn't include much. We even had to pay an extra $10 if we wanted a rush shirt.

However, the fraternity boys have it made. All the frats will cook out on Bowman field and will go out there and get to eat all kinds of yummy food! However I do think its sort of retarded for guys who have no intentions of pledging to go out there just for free food.

Actually, guys with no intention of pledging are capable of changing their minds. They may not be aware of that fact, but they are. I was once one of those guys.
