My ebay account was "taken over by a third party" last night, and is totally messed up. Upon questioning this, I found out that Hundreds, maybe Thousands of people have had the same problem!! The good news is that they are aware of it, and are trying to adjust things. The bad news is, your account will be suspended until it's fixed.
If you use ebay, try to log on. If you can't, there is a good chance that you're one of the people with a jeopardized account!
- Enter
www.ebay.com in your Web browser's address or location bar to access the eBay.com Home Page.
- Click the "Security Center" link located near the bottom of the page.
- Select the "Protecting Your eBay Account" link located under the "General Marketplace Safety" section to access the "Securing Your Account" Help page.
- Follow the instructions provided on the "Securing Your Account" page to regain access to your account.
