What's your style?

How do you like to dress? What's your signature style? What do you wear to work normally?

I am definately a jeans, cords and cargos kind of girl. I also love basic tanks and tees, and own almost every color basic tank top from Old Navy.

Once in awhile I get dressed up if I am going out for the nite, usually basic black pants and a nice tube/corset top or something *revealing* but not too over the top or revealing LOL. Normally though I just dress in my signature style from above since I am the most comfortable that way

In the summertime I love wearing cute little skirts and tank tops and flip flops. The summer is the best time for fashion. I hate winter we are all so bundled up and blah LOL.

For work I dress pretty much the same way, jeans, cords, cargos, tanks and tees. That's what I love about my job. I don't have to wear a suit! Ugh!

Ditto I've given up the thought of cuteness once the snow sets in. 'Cause like, you could look dag on cute when you're still in the house, but as soon as you step outside in the nasty slush, it's over.

I'm afraid that I'm way too dress-concious... hate to leave the house looking like ass because you never know who you'll run into... And usually if you dress nice, you feel better.

This will all probably change in college tho...

Anyway..

Work clothes: Jeans and a polo shirt for my sales job... swimsuit and whistle for my lifeguarding job

School clothes: Prolly just a t-shirt and jeans or cargo shorts.. Sometimes a polo, button up shirt, etc..

Going out: Pretty much the same, depends where I'm going.. usually button-up shirt or a polo.. Sweaters and fleeces in the winter... never never denim shorts

t shirt/jeans for t shirt/jeans situations
letters/ cargo short/pants depending on weather
When I wear suits, I like to go with a vest, under the coat, but only if its cut the right way for a vest. Never, ever double breasted suit jackets or sports coats. I just refuse to wear them. Polo shirts are nice. I want to learn how to play polo, just so I can call everyone else who wears polo shirts a poser.

In the summer: Usually a mini-skirt or sundress and some form-fitting top, platform sandals......and ALWAYS jewelry and the coordinating handbag

For going out, I wear black ass pants a lot, like most other girls.

I'm very much like you. I'm a jeans and tees kind of girl. That's why I am really happy that my work is doing causal summers. I only like to dress up when I feel like it, not because I have to. It's capris and jeans and skirts for me this summer.
But I just bought a cute pair of shoes (I love shoes) but they can't be worn with jeans (well the could but they'd look stupid) so I guess I'm going to have to dress up occasionaly because I want to wear my new shoes.

hey,

cool thread. anyways, i am a pretty trendy dude i admit. i don't really have a certain style i guess, but i guess it depends on the day and the weather. i use to work at abercrombie, so obviously i have alot of clothes there. in HS i use to work at a surf shop, so I have a few beachy clothes. and i shopp at thrift stores and the realy really expensive thrift store urban outfitters alot. though goin to thrift stores is somewhat tiring because it take a while to find something you like. i'm an idiot but i am willing to spend lot so of money on clothes cuz i feel its important, so its not unusual for me to be buyin 100 dollar jeans. though i use to fight it, cuz of the name...i like goign to express for men and banana republic . i dont know why. i guess i'm getting older i guess, and dressing in those pea coat jackets and ties are cool to me. but i dont like some of their clothes...i HATE the GAP. sorry to whoever likes it. .i'm really into shoes. i'm lucky cuz i live near the south coast plaza . lots of great stores here. and when i visit my sister in hollywood, there are lots of good stores there. i have over 38 pairs now. and i collect hats. so i guess you can say my style is a little bit of everything?

Agreed. Winter in Ohio, especially in The Northeast part, can get nasty.

In the winter: Sweatshirts(letters especially), boots, sweaters.

In the Fall / Spring : Long Sleeve shirts, Jeans, rain pullover jacket

In the Summer : T-Shirts and Jeans

Until I came to college I wore skirts and dresses every single day. I have since eased up a lot. I guess you could call my style somewhat girly/preppy.

My style just depends on what day of the week it is or how i'm feeling.

95% of the time I have on flip flops, its the south, its 75 degrees here right now so I can get away with it.

I always wear some sort of jeans to class. If i'm feeling like looking extra cute I'll wear a nice shirt. If I'm feeling like being casual I'll wear one of my sorority tshirts or polo (a couple years back I bought almost every color polo A&F made for girls)

In the summer its usually short khaki shorts (or navy ones) paired with some sort of top or a sun dress. That is when I'm not in a bathing suit.

Going out, usually black pants and a sexy top. Sometimes jeans a cute top if I don't feel like getting too dressed up.
