Summer

Hi Everyone, I guess it's summer time, or near too. What's everyone doing for their summer? I'm taking classes and going to Disney World, and hopefully planning my wedding. And most importantly I'm turning 21 on July 27th! Finally! Not that I'm a lush or anything, but I would just like to go out legally.

I work all summer.. but next week I'm going to Disneyland and Magic Mountain.. I'm going to summer school for a little over a month and hopefully ::crosses fingers:: getting back in shape.

I'm working, I have a new job that doesn't have crazy hours in the summer time like my old job did, so I'm really excited about that.

No big vacations planned this summer but I'm hoping to go to Ocean City, MD one weekend in June before my roommate moves out of town, and also take a long weekend to go up to Boston to visit a friend, then take him out to Cape Cod to meet up with another friend living out there. Also, one of my best friends from high school is getting married and all of my friends that have moved out of town are coming back for it and I think it's going to be a great time.

Is anyone going to convention? I wanted to volunteer for it but I thought I'd have my crazy schedule and now that I don't it's too late. If anyone is going and you'd like to get coffee or ice cream or drinks or something, let me know!

we have the same birthday and I will also be turning 21 on July 27th!

Other than this I'm working at Best Buy like usual and taking two summer classes during June so I can relax during my senior year and take fun stuff

I'm working all summer and then going to Topsail Island in NC the first week of August. Oh and I can't forget......I'm looking for a job so hopefully I'll be interviewing too!

visiting my sister's family in North Carolina, incl. my 3month old niece!!!

and more work

on a sad note, im really scared cuz my sister might get deployed soon, if not for sure in January!!! Im really sad because of my niecer, husband etc. !!!! I hope she wont have to go!!!!!!!!!!

I am doing my Foundation Practicum (400 hours baby!) all summer (yep, I'm a nut for trying to do it all by August...but keep reading and you'll find out why). Plus I'm still doing work as an ABA therapist (have to make money somehow!) as well as taking one last MSW class for the time being ...because I start Law School in the Fall

(I'm doing a joint MSW/JD program).

I still have time to 'have fun'--I'll be visiting my old haunts in Boston next week (which couldn't come any faster!) plus seeing a few concerts next month. I also have my 24th (!) birthday coming up in June. I'll be going home (Chicago area) for the first time since X-mas for the 4th of July and then again for my mom's birthday in August before Law School Orientation. I wish I had more time to relax this summer (instead of doing 34 hours a week of Practicum plus 10 hours of ABA work plus a 3.5 hour class once a week)...but c'e la vie.

hey ladies, this is beth, i used to be ncsudgbeff. i had to get a new name cause i couldn't remember my password and for some strange reason, they didn't ever send it to me. anyway, i'm working for my local newspaper at home, the Montgomery Herald. i'm a staff reporter and i'll be here til september. meanwhile, i'm working on my application for a position as a 4-H agent in NC. i don't know how many of you know what that is, but it's a youth development organization. hope you all have a fabulous summer cause this 40 hours a week deal sucks!
