I'm meeting up with the Orange County AA and the Cal State Fullerton Chapter on the 15th. We're having a luncheon with the chapter on campus and afterwards performing Jewel Degree for the seniors. Should be fun! I know the LA AA is planning a similar event with the UCLA chapter on the 16th but I'm not sure if I will be attending that. If I do I'll be the Jewel Degree queen! 3 Jewel Degrees in 2 weeks haha.

The San Diego AA did their Founder's Day celebration and Jewel Degree last weekend (May 1st and 2nd), since I believe school is out for them by May 15th. It was great to be on "the other side" of Jewel Degree, and to help out with the Founder's Day celebration (and now I get to plan next year's Founder's Day, woo hoo!)

I have to admit, I could feel a breeze blowing from our Founders spinning in their graves as they heard that y'all met at a place called "Jezebelle's"!!!! That gave me a good laugh!!
We tend to celebrate Founders' Day in February, since none of the local chapters are open in May. I could be tempted to make a good mint julep, though - I found some wild mint as I was walking the dog today!! Of course, I'll read the Creed as I do so...

GOADPi my alumane assocation is hosting a luncheon at the Zeta Omega house at UCF. The house is closed but we beg and plead every year and the House Mom usually gives in. Next year its my job fun, fun... On a diffrent note May 15th is also my parents wedding anniversary.

Eta Omega is having our first Founder's Day celebration (remember, this is only our fourth year). We invited about 150 alums and their families to come and celebrate with a cook-out with us. So far, two alums and families are coming, but we're excited anyway! This is especially fun because this is the first year with a house on Greek Row, so we have a nice newly decorated upstairs! Hopefully the chapterroom will be decorated before I graduate next year!

The San Antonio AA will have our Founder's Day Luncheon at the San Antonio Country Club. This will be my first "grown up" Founder's Day celebration. I haven't been in a few years because I've always been out of town. I'm looking forward to it.

lol it was really nice to finally meet you as well! Hopefully I didnt scare you off . I had a great time, and it was fun making more adpi contacts. Leslie, from PSU, and I have been emailing back and forth trying to meet up again and Carol told me that LAAA needs an Alpha Psi rep so I'm thinking I might do that. I decided I need to get more involved .

Founder's Day in Denver
We are celebrating Founder's Day on May 15th in Denver with a luncheon at a nice hotel. We are also going to recognize sisters celebrating 25/50/75-year annivesaries. Oh - and this year is the 90th anniversary of the Alpha Alpha chapter, which was founded at CU-Boulder. (It closed in the 1980's) - so we will be honoring that chapter too. Founder's Day is a bit different for us since our group will be all alum's.
In past years we have had it at a Country Club and attendance has been really low. So, I volunteered to chair the event and am excited to say that our RSVP's are over 35 now. That may seem low to some, but compared to 22 in attendance last year, I think that we are doing pretty darn good!
