Shipping & Handling Charges Complaint
Does anyone else think that shipping and handling charges are out of control? I rarely catalog/online shop, but I saw this little watch that I had to have. The S&H charges were about the same as the cost of the item! Also, I received the watch yesterday and the box they shipped it in could have fit 10 watches!!! They could have sent it in a padded envelope and saved me some cash! Maybe the S&H charges should depend on product size, not dollar amount.

Shipping in usually the actual charges...HANDLING is where they get you! Handling is one way to increase your profit margin AND charge tax on top of it as well. I have seen instances where handling can increase profitability 500%.
Shady dealings...but legal

I totally agree. That's why I avoid shopping online. I hate when they use oversized boxes and charge an arm 'n' leg for handling as others have said.

or those people on Ebay who will charge $7.25 for s & h and you get the item and the postage on it is $2.25.
Those CD/DVD clubs are notorius at it. $14.95 for the CD/DVD and $6.95 for s&h when you know damn well it dont cost that to mail that tiny ass box. Phuck Columbia House, I'll pick chit up at Target.

What about when you send stuff back? They make you pay MORE shipping, and you don't get reimbursed for any of that.
