ALPHA PHI presenting at ELON (NC)

I just got an email about Alpha Phi presenting at Elon and was so excited I wanted to share.

My fiance attended elon for a year and has friends in two sororities on campus. Would it be bad for me to tell them how much Alpha Phi rocks? Or is that dirty "presentation rushing"

I really want to help out with the presentations. I think its so great to possibly add a new chapter at Elon. They have a great greek life system and housing system. Also, its 45 minutes away from Duke and close to other chapters as well. Alpha Phi does really well in NC.

I am so excited about this. I just wish it had happened sooner because one of my best friends went to Elon. She joined a sorority, but they were very disorganized and so she dropped. I would have loved to have her be a sister.

Do we know when the presentations are? I want to think good thoughts when we do ours!

when is the presentation? When our ELC was visiting us she was mentioning about Elon.....i went there for a semester and would be interested in attending. i went to the Wake Forest presentation last spring....it's really interesting.

yay hopefully another chapter in NC!!

The presentations are May 5. There will be an Alumni reception afterwards. I think that means that the girls who are deciding get to come and met the old sisters and ask questions.

I just got the email today and it was through Alumni info.

Tri Delt and Adpi are also presenting.

Tri Delt presented at NCSU last month and I already talked to a friend who saw the presentation. She also told me why they chose Pi Phi and what they looked for. (IE, ALUMNI Involvement, International participation).

Elon has Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Xi Delta, Phi Mu, Sigma Kappa, Sigma Sigma Sigma and Zeta Tau Alpha.

Does Elon stand for something or is that the name?

Nope, Elon is the name of the school. It used to be called Elon College

i used to go to Elon and their Greek System is CRAZY! i have never seen Greek Life so huge on a campus before. I think we have a really good chance of getting on that campus because we presented a few years ago when Elon was last looking to expand and they liked us (even though we weren't chosen, which hey is alright).

they have pledge classes of like 50 girls.....which is almost as big as our chapters are allowed to be here at UNCW. I think we can make it there but it's going to be really tough that first year. i'm excited. i was still bummed about us not getting on Wake Forest's campus last year so maybe this is the year for us

also, Alpha Phi is looking to expand at FSU

i was at the presentation for Wake Forest last year and basically different people from A Phi International come and talk about what we're about and what they're willing to offer

it's a very cool thing and if anyone ever has the chance to go see a presentation for a possible colonization, go! it's so amazing what our sorority has and to hear it being formally presented is awesome

when i went to the WFU presentation, there was representation from all the state chapters showing support for expansion. i actually ran into 2 girls i went to high school with there that are now Alpha Phis at ECU
