Never 2 Old to go Greek
I am 25 & rushed at the age of 23. I have a friend from high school who recently returned to school. She has always wanted to join a sorority but feels she is too old even though we're the same age. I made it clear to her that while there is an age difference between me and members of my pledge class, there is also a lot of things we share in common that made us sisters.
My pledge class consisted of ladies between 18-25. While I am still the eldest, there are also ladies there of 22 & 23. Age is not that big of an issue as long as you're there for the right reasons.
I know that with age comes different perspective. Many of the ladies love to go to parties and enjoy doing that stuff while I prefer hanging out and going to movies. However, we all share a common bond that allows us to be able to share our lives with each other. That is what has made us friends.
The point of this post is to ask if there is anything else I should inform my friend of to help her make her decision.
NOTE: She never specifically said she wanted to join my sorority. She just wants to experience RUSH and see if she finds where she belongs.
Also, is it better for her to COB or just go through formal Rush?
