Pledge Pin
Hey ya'll,
I was just on ebay and there is an Alpha Pin on there. Those are definely suppose to go back to the chapter. Therefore, whomever it belongs to proberly did not inititate (spelling , I know). Especially, if they knew it was an alpha pin. Just thought I let everyone know that know not only should we try to save delta pins, but alpha pins too.
TT love and loyally,
Brandi

We are watching that one. And I'm sure it will end up in the hands of a sister.

is that the one thats selling in the $50's? thats a ridiculous amount to buy an alpha pin for they're not even real gold. I'm all for saving pins but sometimes you've got to pick your battles.

It's up to $76 from $61. I kept going up in one dollar increments.
I know this has a lot of sentimental value, but shoot, its market value isn't that high! I hate to bid it up so high, but I'll put in a final (high) bid before I go to lunch

Now it's up to 82.51. Can't go any higher! (I'm going for the Macon Plate...)

Oh my gosh, it sold for $104.50. It's apparent that shell isn't a sister because she would have known that aside from sentimental value, it isn't worth that much money. I think it would be cool to have an alpha pin since I had give mine back to my chapter, but I wouldn't pay $100 for it.

I have to say that shell is obviously a stupid person. I don't feel sorry for a person who paid over a hundred bucks for something that in acuality cost about 10. Allow me to play my mini violen for this person.

Don't consider it mean, consider it an education lesson. If shell was familiar with our history and the piece, shell would not the face value was a tenth of what he/she is not paying for it. I dont' feel sorry one bit about the price shell paid. I do feel bad that this didn't end up in a sisters hands, or the chapter it belongs to.
Lets make it our mission to save our diamonds, but in the event we cannot, educate those that insist on having them.
