Went to the show today, and it was pretty interesting. The narrator told of what the ladies of EDE (it was a service sorority that wasn't affiliated with the U of T. The members of this organization were made up of grads of Toronto area private schools. For some weird reason, I don't remember what their letters stood for!) did during WWI, such as knitting, sewing and writing letters to soldiers and sailors overseas. Some of the girls even fell in love with the guys they were writing to! One of the girls actually dumped her fiance for her penpal (who sadly wasn't able to make it home)! After the story, we had a miniconcert of songs from the era, followed by tea.
