Omega Chapters
Ok, there's probably a thread about this somewhere so no one freak out....we've got lots of new people here with lots of new info so it will be OK....
How many GLO's out there have a special chapter (W/WW) or something for those who are deceaced?
Also, for everyone regardless....do you like this idea?
I tend to think I'm a Beta Kappa for life (and death), because that's where I was initiated....not that the spesific chapter is any more importaint then the group as a whole...but it just seems like a permanent thing (with the exception of Collegiate transfers)

Yup *nod*
We're one of the GLOs who adopt Omega Charge as a chapter for deceased brothers.

The Omega chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta is located at the University of Akron in Ohio. Founded in 1922, it is still going strong and remains one of the few single letter chapters we have out there.
The chapter that is home to our deceased sisters is called Chapter Grand.

We don't have a special chapter designation for deceased sisters.
Our Omega chapter is at UT-Austin.

Omega Chapter for APhiA is for deceased Brothers.
Omega Chapter for Alpha Phi Omega is at Drake University. Although nationally there is no designation for deceased Brothers, my home chapter (Mu Alpha) calls them "Celestial Brothers."

We do not have a chapter for our deceased Sorors. Our Omega Chapter is at Winston-Salem State University.

To my knowledge, Pi Beta Phi does not have an official designation for deceased members.

The Tri- Sigma chapter here, Epsilon Upsilon, uses Omega to denote the pledge class for all deceased sisters, so they just went straight from Psi to Alpha Alpha.
