NPC Sororities at SoCon Schools

Okay...I'm bored, so let's look at NPC sororities at Southern Conference schools. The schools in the Southern Conference are:
Appalachian State
College of Charleston
The Citadel
Davidson
East Tennessee State University
Elon
Furman
Georgia Southern
UNC-Greensboro
UT-Chattanooga
Wofford
Western Carolina University
Virginia Military Institute

I couldn't find a listing of sororities (or fraternities) at the Citadel or VMI. Davidson has fraternities and eating houses...don't know what the heck those are but I assume they're Davidson's version of sororities?

Anyways, that leaves 10 schools, so we'll use that number.

Sororities at 7 of the 10: ADP

Sororities at 6 of the 10: KD, FM

Sororities at 5 of the 10: CW,

Sororities at 4 of the 10: ZTA

Sororities at 3 of the 10: AXD, SK, DDD, ACW

Sororities at 2 of the 10: DZ, KAQ, SSS, AOP, KKG

Sororities at 1 of the 10: AF, AGD, DG

Sororities not represented: PBF, GFB, AST, ASA, AEF, QFA, FSS, DFE and SDT.

Again, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Also, if anyone knows for sure that there are or are not sororities at The Citadel and VMI (I'm really assuming there are not), please let me know.

Neither VMI nor the Citadel has Greek Life. ATO and Sigma Nu were founded at VMI, but fraternities were banned there early on. They have waaaaaaaaay too intense of a campus life to have time for Greek life (VMI is across the street from my college). I assume that the Citadel also bans Greek Life--there probably wouldn't be interest in it anyway.

Davidson College's eating houses do indeed function as sororities in some sense. There is also a co-ed eating house. They have discussed letting NPC sororities colonize the eating houses numerous times but it always gets rejected. The important difference in the eating houses is that there is a quota system, but selection is done by lottery. You choose your own house, and you can preference with a group of friends, as well. There is a lot of information about it on Davidson's Patterson Court website. (Patterson Court is the home of the fraternities and eating houses.)

There is a Sigma Delta Tau chapter at the College of Charleston - just started this past fall.

The Citadel doesn't need greek life - the whole place is like one huge fraternity!
