Woody Paige speaking at UTK's founder day

Hi everybody, my name is Ryan Daley I am a Lambda Chi at the University of Tennessee Knoxville and I just wanted to invite all alumni and present members of Lambda Chi Alpha to Knoxville, Tennessee for our Founders Day. Right now, it is planned for the second weekend in March at the University Club in KNOXVEGAS. Those dates are tentative but they be affirmed by Monday.

All of our brothers are very excited because we will have Woody Paige as our guest speaker for Founders Day. Woody Paige is a sports columnists for the Denver Post and on the ESPN sports show AROUND THE HORN. Mr. Paige is a UTK graduate and was a Lambda Chi Alpha here in the late 60's. Mr. Paige is known for his comedic speeches and also is a great speaker who gives speeches all over the United States. For more about Mr. Paige you can visit his website at www.woodypaige.com.

A little information about UTK:
This will be our 72nd founders day. We have inititated exactly 2100 people. We have around 70 active brothers, but 100 undergraduate brothers in the Knoxville area. Our fraternity has gone through a rough year, we have been on probation for a year and a half and lost about 1/4 of the fraternity, last year at this time we had around 90 active brothers on campus. Through a lot of hard work the past two semesters, we've fixed a lot of the problems in the fraternity and the future looks great. Right now we have nine associates and did very well during spring rush. We really feel we are about to start reaping the benefits of our hard work.

This will be our biggest function in the past ten years and we will have a plethora of alumni showing up for this event. Both alumni and brothers from all chapters are welcome. For more information you can e-mail rdaley@utk.edu or call {865} 335-0177.
