College Football: Michigan/Ohio State. I hate both but I gotta admit thats real.
College Basketball: UNC/Duke.
NFL: NFC East. We all hate each other. Pittsburgh/Cleveland, AFC East, KC/Oak, Oak/Den, SF/Cowgirls comes in a close second.
MLB: Yankees/Sox
NHL: Dont care.
NBA: Lakers/Celtics, Sacramento/Lakers today, Sixers/Celtics of the early 80s, Bulls/Pistons of the late 80s

NFL: Minnesota Vikings/Green Bay Packers these games are beyond intense no matter how bad the Vikes are doing (and vice-versa for the Pack) its a successful season if you beat the Pack.
MLB: Not even a questions BOSOX and Yanks
NHL: For me its the Cancucks and Wild but thats just me
NBA: Nothing really comes to mind except the Kings and the Lakers...doesn't matter though T-Wolves all the way this year!

Vancouver Canucks and Toronto Maple Leafs - however that is more of a fan rivalry...

Canucks and St. Louis Blues -nasty, nasty, nasty
Ottawa Senators and Maple Leafs
Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers

eta - I mean the rivalry, not the Blues

I'm sorry but any Canadians out there who put forward any other "rivalries" are a little messed up... Leafs/Habs: so entrenched that itmust be mentioned... Sens/Leafs: a new rivalry but a great one...... and finally Flames/Oilers: the battle of Alberta; antoher classic.

I think CutiePie2000 nailed it on the head... except for one (CFL) exception... Argos/Tiger Cats.... very bitter.

College Football: Oklahoma vs. Texas, Oklahoma State or Nebraska (back in the days when Tom Osborne coached).

Pro Football: The Dolphins - and whoever's playing the Cowpokes!

Baseball: Yankees vs. Bosox is the only rivalry that matters. Jints vs. Bums (SF (formerly NY) Giants and LA (formerly Brooklyn) Dodgers) are irrelevant since they turned traitor and moved west over 40 years ago

Hockey: Don't follow it seriously enough to pick sides.

Basketball: Ditto, except when the San Antonio Spurs are gunning for the finals! Now that's a team with class.

Where I'm from the only college rivalry that matters is U of L and UK. That goes for football and basketball.
As for MLB: Yankees/Red Sox

College Football: Auburn/Alabama; Michigan/Ohio State

Basketball: Kentucky/Louisville

NFL: Browns/Steelers

MLB: I don't care anymore, but boy I used to care about the Reds and Dodgers.

NHL: Columbus Blue Jackets/Nashville Predators, with the St. Louis Blues a close second!

NBA: probably a big throwback to the 1980s, but the Celtics/Lakers or Celtics/Pistons.

Yanks/Sox is the best rivalry right now in sports; two teams at the top of their games with a century of hatred for each other.

Celts/Lakers and Boston/Montreal are good old time rivalries, but Yanks/Sox still is tops in my mind.
