Vartec/Excel Communications?

Has anyone heard of the company before? Apparently, my roommates introduced me to it, but there is a $400 fee that you have to pay at first. I hear its a telecom company, but I am not sure. I hear about paying money up front in pyramid scandals and stuff like that and I dont know if the 400 is a good investment or not.

If it is a JOB they pay YOU. You don't pay them four hundred dollars that's not how it works!! Stay away from those confused people and don't be conned!

If it's a franchise, then you're paying the $400 for the rights to use their name, network etc but otherwise I'd stay well away.
