WOW U thought it was funny. I guess since my friend kept talking in my ear then I had to repeat their lines then people's phones were ringing and they were answering it but it was okay. Not as good as I expected it.

Saw the movie last night with my husband. It had it's moments BUT I didn't think it was that funny either.
However, I did see the previews for Eddie's Dr Doolittle 2 and for a movie with Martin and Danny Devito...they looked pretty good.

And DO NOT forget the preview for RUSH HOUR 2. I am looking forward to the teaming of Martin with Danny DeVito.
The funniest moments of Kingdom Come involved Loretta Devine.
My friend and I both thought that Whoopi seemed out of place as mom for this movie.

The movie didn't really center AROUND Whoopi...it centered around those OTHER family members who had issues, resolving or coming to terms with those issues.
I really didn't know what to expect from the movie, so I wasn't disappointed.
Loretta, Darius, "Junior" (don't know his real name), and Jada were extremely funny...you didn't think Ceddie was funny? I thought they were.

Ced was funny esp. with his TROUBLES in the bathroom but it just was not what I expected.
It might also be that I was just in kind of a funky mood and should've followed my first mind and went to the movies alone.

Ok, I just came back from viewing the movie. I thought it was ok, but I do have some questions. Why did they have to give my sexy lips man LL a name like "Ray Bud", I was cracking up at just that alone.
The other thing that had me rolling on the floor were the "ballet slippers", even typing this now, I am cracking up.
My other thing was Ceddy Ced with his lisp, and the scene in the church, y'all know what scene I'm talking about.
But over all, it was cool.

I enjoyed the movie, the plot got a bit deep though and ended quickly. That's my only complaint. It was really funny!

I thought it was alright. It had its moments.
I have to agree with CrimsonTide, Whoopi really didn't seem like a country mom who lost her 'mean and surly' husband.
Jada was too much for me, with her powdered neck...LOL
And another question: Remember when Jada's character was singing in the church, and they did a shot of the congregation singing? Why did Toni look like she didn't know the words to the song?

CrimsonTide I had one of those weekends too, so I followed my instinct this time and just decided not to go see the movie ... I will check it out at a later time - ALONE. I hope I enjoy it then ;-)

Hhhhmmm...sorry, soror. This movie will only get a Skee from me, and no pearls. It was ok, but we have all seen much better. It had a few funny moments, but I could have waited until it went to the good old $1 theater!!
