Bowl Games
Did your university or college go to a Bowl Game?
Ole Miss (The University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS) won the SBC Cotton Bowl today. The score, Ole Miss 31 and Oklahoma State 28! GO Rebels! That win made it 10 games we won this year! We were actually good! Also, that was the first time in 41 years Ole Miss had been to the Cotton Bowl.
GO OLE MISS REBELS!

Eli we love you!

It's so sad. My school doesn't have a football team.
I did, however, go to the Alamobowl this year, Nebraska vs. Michigan State.

Just got back from visiting family (been missing my GC friends), and I gotta say, "HOTTY TODDY!!!" I didn't watch the game because the Rebels would have lost (it has happened before, so I didn't want to chance it!), but I did see our 1st TD. The SEC has done well in their bowl games--good luck to LSU tomorrow!

Ohio State won the Fiesta Bowl over Kansas State. But the Game was a lot closer than the score indicated.

What about Wisconsin?
Marquette, as usual, was resting high on their undefeated season, and decided not to play in a bowl game.

I don't know how I missed this thread until now...
Of course, Georgia beat Purdue in the Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Florida. It was a snoozer, but UGA made a couple mistakes and let Purdue back into the game. It went into overtime, but the Dawgs pulled it out.
Now if David Pollack and Sean Jones will just announce that they are going to stay another year, all of my Christmas wishes regarding football will have been answered
