Lightbulb Bid Day Ideas!

Hey Phi's!
I'm from Sigma chapter at the University of Washington and new to the chat!
I was hoping that we could all share our ideas for bid day. I'm the new member educator for PC 2004 and wanted to get started. This year we had a firehouse theme and had the best pictures! We had an antique firetruck pick the girls up on campus and drive them to our house where we had a real fire truck from the local station there. The entire house piled onto the truck and took group photos. http://students.washington.edu/alphaphi/ and click on bid day photos.
Any other ideas?
I need to create t-shirts and get some sort of transportation for them, other houses have used everything from limos, motorcycles, Harleys, Hummers, firetrucks, and garbage trucks.

Love and AOE!

I couldn't find the bid day pics you spoke of

but anyway I'm kind of confused - what do you mean transportation for your bid day shirts? like, how to get them from the screen printing place to your house???? Or the theme for NPC rush is transportation? Keep in mind we all do rush extremley differently at each campus...so you might want to clarify a bit!

But I think a stretch expedition would be cool...or ferrari's, lamborguinis, etc. keep it high class you know...hehe.

She meant transportation for the new members on bid day--from campus (where they receive their bids) to the house (where they celebrate with their new sisters).

Stretch Lincoln Navigators are awesome and definitely eye catching! I used one to pick up my whole family for my wedding, and people were taking pictures of it.

I'd have to frown on the garbage truck though!

The password to get into the photos are the house's initials and uw, so apuw for us. They aren't the best photos, the dance ones are self-explanatory and presentation got confused and rescheduled so only about half of the actives were able to go. Fun to see pics though!

I apologize for my blonde moment about the transportation thing....i still vote stretch expedition or even a stretch HUMMER. stretch anything is pretty f-ing tight if you ask me. I'd be like "oh yea I'm definatley all about A-Phi with this stretch SUV business."
