Has anyone else seen this CRAP????!!!!
The bf and I were watching TV last nite at 2 AM and OMG....there he is, singing "Bring me my girlfriend..." It was an infomercial for his new cd, "3 sides" and it was officially the GHEYEST thing I had seen all break.

Anyone know anything about this travesty?

Exclamation

I saw it in the Target ad this week. I thought I was crazy. I convinced myself that I was thinking of the wrong last name for Bachelor Bob and the CD must be some country singer I hadn't heard of. Alas, I'm wrong. I don't know what type of music it is but it just scares me that he has a CD out.

He was on a reality tv DATING show. Granted, it ain't Blind Date, but still.

That just SCREAMS fame whore! No one is on this show because they are happy with their present station in life, lol.

I've heard the song, and folks, it ain't pretty...

The local radio station here does something called "Survival of the Freshest" (cheesy, hmm?) - they play two new songs and listeners call in which one they like best, that one goes on to the next night, etc.

About a month ago, they played Bob's song - I don't remember what the other song was, but Bob got his butt kicked. The DJ was making so much fun of him ("Oh look, it's a song from Bachelor Bob, we must be playing it because of his amazing musical talent, I'm sure!").

Needless to say, Bob's song died on the airwaves that night...along with my eardrums.

Actually...
Bob was a member of the group Fat Amy which was immensely popular in the Michigan college scene when I was in school in the mid to late 90's. They had a few albums out long before he ever was on the Bachelor. I think he laid off the music after his divorce but was always hoping to get back into it. So, this was an easy in, I guess. Don't bash him too bad, this isn't totaly out of left field.

However, I have NOT heard the new stuff, so I can't pass judgement on that, but it sounds pretty bad from your reviews! Fat Amy definitely wasn't a "pop" band...

Jules, don't lie. You know you are going to ask Santa for this CD and run down to the tree on Christmas morning and rip all your presents open just to find out if Santa brought you Bachelor Bob's CD.

It's true.

Well I just heard that Bachelor Bob will be making "an appearance" at a concert a radio station in the area is putting on. I sure hope he just goes on stage to say hello and not to sing

I actually enjoy his singing (what I heard of it during his date with Mary, Misty and Kelly Jo in their jammies )

And...I asked my grandma to buy me the CD for Christmas...therefore, I didn't have to pay for it if I truly don't like it!

Actually Kathy is right. Bob was in the band when he was in high school, and named the band after an exgirlfriend. They had a CD and when his mom came in to work on our yearbook, she brought us some bumper stickers and played one of his CDs which was actually pretty good. And it's DEFINATELY not pop music.

Maybe he did get on the show for publicity. But actually his friends are the ones who had the idea of him going on the Bachelorette so I really doubt that. Even if he was, what do u think all the Real Worlders are doing?
