Conferences

Just a note to you all....be super careful with your stuff when attending a conference and staying at a house.

This weekend I was at the Horseshoe conference with my guys (we were an exception since we are not in that region). the purpose was to get the guys initiated (I was the only one initiated prior to this trip) and then educate them more. After the initiation on Friday night, I took a whole bunch of pictures of the guys. I put my camera in my bag. Come later in the night, I go to take some medicine and I notice my camera is gone but the pouch it was in still remained. I talked to Stu, Greg, and other guys from IHQ and they made an announcement to all the guys. No action was going to be taken had it been returned. Well, here I am, back at home and I am still without camera. It was a $300+ Digital camera that I just got back from the repair shop.

We think we know who did it, since these guys have a reputation for doing stuff like that and the fact that they left the conference at 9 in the morning on Saturday. I don't anticipate getting my camera back and that just sucks. I wanted you all to make sure that you are safe with your stuff so this doesn't happen to you. You'd think you wouldn't need to worry about that being in a house full of your brothers from other chapters, but I guess you do.

Just be safe and smart.
