Question Confused??

Okay, so I thought only undergraduates could join a sorority. However, I keep seeing "i found my home after college" or things like that. Can you pref as a grad. student or something? I'm sorry, this may be a dumb topic, but I was just confused.

If you go to the Alumnae Involvement forum you can find out more about Alumnae Initiation, something that many (almost all) NPC sororities participate in. Each sorority has different guidelines for prospective Alumnae Initiates.

And there is at least one NPC group, Phi Sigma Sigma, that will pledge graduates students to an undergraduate chapter.

HI There,

As PnguinTrax said Phi Sigma Sigma allows graduate students to join the collegiate chapters. I think Phi Sigma Sigma, besides living up to their ideal of inclusiveness, realized that the sterotypical 18 year old college student for 4 years, living in the dorms etc is not so much the norm now. So they started looking at ways to adapt to the changing demographics of college students and the rest is history.

My chapter alone has 3 current graduate students and we also have 4 sisters that range in age between 30 and 40. Plus we have a few moms and a few married sisters.
