How will/did you welcome in the new year?
Well, the new year will be upon us in the next six hours. How will/did you ring it in?
As for me, I'm going to church with family and hopefully be on my knees at midnight!

Like you, I, too will be on my knees at midnight thanking God for another safe year. My mother always says that the way things are on New Year's day is a forecast of things to come in the new year, i.e., whatever you're doing you'll be doing all year long. Last year I cried over my ex on New Year's, and I did that all of 2000. My finances were not in order on New Year's, and it was like that much of 2000! So this year, I plan to sit down with a good book, read a few Bible verses, make out a NEW and improved budget, and do something creative that I used to take pleasure in, like writing poetry or something. Anything productive!

I rang in the New Year with my husband and my puppy dog in front of the fireplace. If we don't go to church we have a fireplace picnic. That's our tradition.

Happy New Year everyone! Well, unfortunately, I brought in the new year lying in bed sick and did not get to go to watch night service at church. But, I did pray and thank God for letting me see another year and that 2001 will be a lot better for me that 2000.

Hello All, Happy New YEAR!!!
I rang the New Year in at home with my mom and my brother's children ... it was nice and quiet. I would have gone to church but my back was aching something awful from shoveling my foot of snow all day on Saturday. Still I prayed and read the bible!
It was joyous and I felt blessed, I hope I continue with this feeling for the rest of 2001.
Convinced, my mom told be that same thing too, I somewhat believe it, but I also believe that you can make the best of what you've got and change anything around in your life when you get the fire under your @$$.
YALL stay bless, ya hear!!

I rang in 2001 with my fiance and Dick Clark, then my son woke up and came downstairs and we had a nice family hug. Then as a we were hugging, my fiance led us in prayer to give thanks to GOD for allowing us to be together and seeing another year.

ok...this post almost brought tears to my eyes. That was so sweet. I'm feeling very sentimental and mushy as of late.

I just had to respond...This year was so blessed. I thank God for allowing me to make it through another year. So with that...I spent new years eve at church (Spirit of Faith Christian Center--Temple Hills Maryland). The most anointed and talented Ben Tankard was in the house...I then went to Jericho City of Praise for a concert with Isaiah Thomas, Salathiel Allen (anointed saxaphonist), and the most anointed and talented VICKIE WINANS! She is so awesome.

This year, like every year I was in church, thanking the Lord for allowing me to be where I am at today and praying for hor him to help me reach higher heights. On a side note, anyone make any resolutions? And am I the only one that has a real problem following through on my resolutions? Mine were to be patient, not let the little things worry me, and to strive for excellence in all I do instead of "just enough to get by"......
