How does it work?

When you post in a thread, it says under you name what level you are. Like mine says Senior Member, but i only have over 100 posts. I checked other people who have over 4,000 posts and theirs still says Senior Member... Is that all there is senior member and Moderator? How does it work?

first comes junior member. then after i think like 20 posts or something comes 'member'. then after 100 posts comes 'senior member' it stays on senior member for the rest of your posts unless you are a moderator

Not that Mod is just a given!

I will admit maybe John made a mistake in choosing some Mods! But the only one I can think of is me! He had a lapse of decision making for one of the few times of GC!

It is not about your status of posts or how many you make, but what you "can" post.

There is a Thread that only Mods can get into, this is not a secret so dont all panic.

There is a lot of discussion on that site and a lot decisions to make.

There are Mods on All of the General Threads as you can see. But there is also Mods on ost of teh Greek Threads, while some do not, it is because of teh number of posts placed. Some did not have Threads including Nationals or Up and coming Locals with enough Chapters to make a point of being on GC.!

A Local for lack of a better Term is getting a Thread as they now have 20 Chapters and have petitioned to have a Thread and will be getting one soon if not done already!

It looks like from your 1st to 29th post you are a junior member. 30th to 99th are regular members. 100th and beyond are senior members. Moderators are a select group, but I don't know how many they need to qualify as one or if there are other factors. Hope this helps!
