Post Protesting in Florida

Hello all,
I would first like to let you all know that the marble floors in the Florida State Capital are really not made for sleeping
I just returned from the Capitol where myself and my fellow colleagues marched and sat for 22 hours in silent protest. Without getting all worked up over the details of the protest I would just like to say that the ladies of the Beta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. set a fine example for the other organizations on campus who were "too busy" to join in the struggle. Many of the organizations marched but only the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha spent the night. The ladies offered their assistance in organizing and preparing the food donated to us by various businesses (including McDonald's and Albertson's-please remember to patronize these businesses). I would just like to say that I was very proud of Alpha Kappa Alpha for their turn-out and unsolicited service. Such acts only strengthen my resolve to persue membership into this organization.
