Hey ladies,
I'm an alum from Gamma Alpha chapter at Penn State Behrend. I was wondering if any other chapters named sweethearts. Ours does and we love our guys. I was just interested to see how many others did the same.
Also, does anyone watch MTV's sorority/fraternity life? I am addicted to it simply because I like to see how worse it gets each season. I was just wondering what others thought.
My greek week co chair and I were walking out of meeting one night when this guy walks up to us and out of NOWHERE asks us how many sisters we have.. We were both like "Huh?"
It turns out that he is the sweet heart of your chapter!! He mentioned that he has letters, but is hesitant to wear them around Pitt because our sisters would be.. surprised to say the least..
That's awesome, he's a super nice guy. We all miss him tons! If you happen to see him around tell him we all said hi and he needs to come visit soon.
Hope all is well with you guys this semester. Good luck on Recruitment. I live in the area, I'm back at home so if you guys ever need anything let me know. I'm always willing to help out when needed.
I am from Epsilon (University of Cincinnati). We do not have a "sweetheart" for our chapter. But we do have a Sapphire Man. We are the only sorority on campus that has anything like this. In the spring quarter we distribute applications across capmus for anyone who is interested. At our meetings we narrow the applicants down to about 10 or so. Then we announce the winner at our spring semi-formal. It is so fun!!
Our Sapphire Man for this year is Bob. You can check out pics of him on our website: http://www.sald.uc.edu/greek/thetaphialpha/
Kim,
I just wanted to tell you that your website is amazing! I really like the graphics, especially the letters. Great site! Your sapphire men are hot too!
