Asking a Favor :)

Hello Ladies!

I am posting to ask a favor of Alums and Collegians. I have made a T-shirt quilt with all of my Alpha Gam shirts. It is for my guest room as soon as my house is done.

I would like to make T-shirt pillows to go with the quilt, but I have sewn all of my t-shirts together. I'm constantly searching ebay, and I have gotten a couple of shirts, so I thought I would try on here!

I'm not asking for donations (although if you would like to, thats OK too ) But if you have any shirts in your closet that you just don't wear and don't know what to do with, I would love them! I'm willing to pay y'all for them and I would love some shirts from different chapters across the country.

Thanks!!!

~Meredith

I've been wanting to do that, too -- did you make the quilt yourself? I have no quiliting experience... let me know if it's easy or difficult, and if you have any suggestions!

Its not hard, it just takes a lot of patience! Mine took 4 months for me to get done, but I think thats because I was chasing my son around for most of it.

Is there a quilting store near you? I took a class with my Sis-Mom at one here on how to make one. They gave me all the fabric I needed and the pattern to follow. If not, the pattern I got you can get at any fabric store I'm sure. The ladies at my shop told me there is only one made, so it should be easy to find.

Meredith,

My old shirts are all packed away. Probably storage stained and stuff. But if I ever come across them I will gladly give them to you. It is about time I cleaned out some storage anyway .

Thanks Kristin!

I won some more shirts from Ebay yesterday - the people on there probably think I have an obsession with old shirts or something.
