Arnold on O'Reilly tonight..

So apparently Bill O'Reilly is having the first exclusive interview with Arnold tonight. I have no doubt that he will pull a lot of information out of the interview and will most likely at least watch a portion of this while at the gym tonight.

He'll probably scream at Arnold if he doesn't agree with what Arnold say and cut him off. Then insult him and then proceed to go on his "no spin zone" bs.

Tim Sebastian, now that is a guy that knows how to push his guests without being impolite or hostile.

Should be interesting - I've met O'Reilly before (fellow Boston U. alum) and he was really interesting to talk to. I'm not a big fan of his show (the no-spin talk he espouses really cracks me up), but it should be a good interview nonetheless.

I'll most likely watch it.

I thought the interview went pretty good. Didn't really dig into anything, and Arnold couldn't really explain how he would tighten up the boarders (O'Reilly's fav issue) except to say he would work with neighboring Govs and lobby Washington.

Can't help it, I like Arnold and hope he wins. I believe him when he says he's going to audit the books line by line and cut some of the over spending, recind the car tax and a few other ditties.

All that Indian money going to Bustamonte (sp?) smacks of "special interests".

Arnold will be good for CA. Almost anyone would be better than Davis... except possibly the tax loving Cruz Bustamante.

His ego might be big, but he really performs a great interview. He is not scared to get to the bottom of things, you need someone w/ an ego to have the guts to ask the questions. Someone like Larry King just serves as a platform for people to state their cause, a joker really, not a reporter.

I don't think o'reilly is a good interviewer. It's one thing to have tough question, it's another to be abusive and cutting off your guest. There is a host on BBC named Tim Sebastian. I like him because he always plays the Devil Advocate to his guest. But he is always polite and respectable. Some might not like the questions he ask, but Tim never cut anybody off.

O'Reily gets on my nerves sometimes. I respect where he's coming from with some of his questions, but to be a really great interviewer you should balance that with letting your guest speak their mind about an issue. If someone were like a cross between Larry King and Bill O'Reiley (sp??) then that person would be a really great interviewer.

Only when they begin the spin...

He will only cut someone off when they start spinning lies over the air. The entire point behind his show is to speak the facts, and ask the hard questions. Larry King is weak, a mixture between the two would be Carson Daily, so that is out...

O'Reilly researches everything, and knows the facts b4 the interview. He does NOT bring people on his show to let them spout opinion and promote books/movies/etc. like King does. O'Reilly usually has someone on his show b/c they are guilty of some sort of social crime. He gives them the chance to defend themselves, and many times, they will change his opinion as well. He only cuts people off when they lie or distort.
