Founders Dedication Ceremony - Emily!

Word has it that Emily Butterfield's Founder's Dedication Ceremony will be Sunday September 21 in Algonac , MI. Keep watching the Fraternity's website for details. There are two ceremonies the first weekend for two others.

And for those collegians who are planning on going to any of these ceremonies - don't forget that you need a Risk Management form!

Ohhh.. I wish I could be there!! I know that each of our founders is super special, but there's just something about Emily Of course, designing our amorial bearings (and those of other Greek orgs. ), being the 1st MI female arch. ..is oustanding for any person!!

Here's to Emily! It would be extra special if members of the other Greek orgs could be there too.

I am seriously considering going to Georgia Otis Chipman's ceremony, since it's in NJ and it's in the afternoon. My sister-daughter tried to convince me to go to Estelle Shepard Beswick's, too, since they're the same day, but I don't think I'm going to want to leave here at 6:30 am on a Saturday to get all the way up to NY on time.

EHB rocks!

I've been wanting to go to one of the Founder's ceremonies, but they've always been 8+ hours away from where I've been at the time. But MI isn't too far from Toronto...

Tau loves Butterfield because she was one of our installing officers...her sig is on our charter and she gave us a bunch of paintings that hang in our chapter room

The Alpha Upsilon chapter will be at Emily Helen Butterfield's ceremony in full force! This is seriously a once in a lifetime event and I know I personally don't want to miss it! I plan to get pictures of things to post on our website (when my university finally decides to accept the site...there's nothing wrong with it but they've gotta look it over first). It's so neat to have a founder here in my own home state!

That's great that a large group of women from CMU will be there! Unfortunately, both Alpha Beta (U of Mich) and Alpha Pi (Wayne State) have Recruitment events that day so I don't think any of them will make it. Alpha Pi has Pref and Bid Day that day

For those collegians attending, don't forget that you need an approved FEPF! I'm sure your Risk Management Coordinator will work with you to get it approved quickly!
