DG Expanding...more!

Hey ladies! I just heard this today from the CDC currently with my chapter (Megan is awesome by the way!!!)! Not only is DG expanding to New Mexico next spring, but in the FALL they just approved expantion to a university in Ohio! For the life of me though, I CAN NOT REMEMBER the university! I think it was like a person's name or something like that...Ohio ladies chime in...if I hear it I will remember it!

YES! I think that's it! That sounds right! I remember hearing it and I had never heard of it before. I really think that is it! I'll check again with my CDC tonight just to make sure!

Okay haha, I lied! It's not John Carrol, it's Case (Kase?) Western!! Anyone know where that is? I know it's in Ohio...

I've also heard about a chapter possibly coming to Georgia State or Georgia Southern, also!

Case Western is in Cleveland and is a terrific university.
We used to have a chapter at Ga. State and they closed it back in the late 80's I believe.
Georgia Southern is in Statesboro and would be a very interesting place to colonize. They have some strong groups there!

Its still only 40 minutes away!! YAY!!!

I have a couple friends from High School that are greek at Case. One is an Alpha Phi and the other is something else....i can't remember right now.

I'm trying to look and see if Case says anything and to see what other chapters are there, but I don't think the site is working.

Does anyone know....is this official??

Yes, it is official...Megan, our CDC got an e-mail from EO telling her which CDC's would be going to colonize the chapter! Their schedules were rearranged so it could all happen! Yippy!

Is it going to be this semester or next spring? It just seems really quick and unlike normal expansions where we're accepted but don't colonize until a year later (new mex for example).

CJ - can you give any details? If not i'll wait until our CDC comes into town on Tuesday....i'm just really excited bout this....yay for ohio chapters!!!

I'll ask today at work week for more details. I just know that the Eta Lamba colony (yay for Eta Kappa not being the youngest anymore!!) will be at Case Western. It will be colonized in the fall...

Then in the spring New Mexico will be colonized and it will be Eta Mu!

I believe that all NPC sororities can only colonize on 4-year campuses.
