Complaints to amazon.com
Has anyone ever successfully complained to amazon.com? If so who and how did you make the contact?
All week I have been trying to order a textbook (new) that I need for the fall. I currently have 3 giftcards from Borders/Waldenbooks, and I'd like to apply at least one of them to this order. Amazon says you can only apply 1. Fine, I can live with that. But it hasn't accepted ANY of the three giftcards, keeps on saying that it's an invalid number. Which it's not, I've checked with the 1-800 number on the back of the cards.
In any event, I've been corresponding with Amazon support all week. So far they just keep saying try again in a day or two. I originally complained on Monday, it's now Friday and it still does not work and none of the support's emails have been of any help. So i'd like to complain to a higher up. As someone who used to work in tech support- a problem coming in on Monday and not being resolved by Friday is not acceptable.
Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone had ever made any complaints to them and who you contacted.
