Nip/Tuck

Has anyone seen this new series on F/X? It was on last night. I thought it was really good, even if a bit gory.

I loved that show! Christian was the sexy demon guy from Charmed. He's yummy. I think it's going to be great, as in "Funny and creepy and this could actually happen."

I thought it was kinda stupid...

I especially hated the blonde wife and her "woe is me" in my huge beautiful house with my expensive things - I didn't believe the "I only gave up my dream for you" bit.

I don't think I'll watch it again, but my boyfriend enjoyed it more than me, so maybe it's just not my thing...

I DO like this show and Heaven knows Christian is quite easy on the eyes but....I find that the only characters I can stand are the two kids! I especially dislike that gerbil-murdering bitch of a mom.

And what is with dad's refusal to let that poor boy get circumsized? It's his penis, let him do what he wants.

Just finished watching this week's installment, and I must say...

YUMMY!

I cracked up at the whole gerbil thing. I'm sorry-- if it were real, I'd be horribly upset, but it's just so darkly funny that it resonates perfectly with my sick, cynical sense of humour.

I cracked up when Sean fired the shrink.

And (I mean this) those poor twins!

Though they got to sleep with Sexy Demon Boy, so maybe I don't feel so sorry for them.

My theory is that he deliberately arranged for Jules to see him with the twins so that she'd go back to Sean. He realized that he couldn't hurt his friend, no matter how hot & bothered he was.

KR: I think Sean's issue is that he feels that his children should learn to like themselves for who they are and not go rushing into plastic surgery to make themselves feel better. I understand that this is rather hypocritical of him, given that he's a plastic surgeon, but imagine plastic surgery as a metaphor for glossing over the surface of a problem without getting to its core. Sean seems to have real issues with it, which I'm sure will develop throughout the season. I think that Christian had it right on the nose when he said, "Your problem isn't your dick, Matt, it's your confidence."
