TIME Magazine

Have any of ya'll seen the new TIME magazine? If you have, I'm going to assume you know why I'm asking. I just thought that was so weird!

Heh.

Ladies, it's a Phi Mu thang -- so it's best that there aren't any more details on the board. If you're curious, just pick up a TIME at the store and browse, page by page. You won't miss it.

I went home, pouring through the table of contents to try and find *something* sorority related, but there wasn't anything there! So, I just started flipping through the pages.

Amazing how little stuff jumps out at you like that...

Time Magazine

While the message the solider left might be special to some, it is not an uncommon occurrance.

During WWI and WWII, pins with that inscription were exchanged between lovers who were parted because of war. These are called "War Sweetheart" pins.

It is also a very special greeting for those of jewish faith and there are a great many ways this is used between separated loved ones.
