I have heard this as well, but i have no idea if it is true. I have heard this from people on our exec, but nothing from nationals on it or not, we shall soon see. If it is true they will unvail this at The Leadership Conference and then we sill know when we get back to school, after all the conference is in August.

Yeah it's true. During our regional conference in Feb Bruce Wolfson(?) mentioned that the larger regions would save the international fraternity some money because they would have less conventions, etc. The new regions wouldnt take effect until late 2004 though.

Super regions

The Carolinas region and the founders region already merged last novermber for a super regional conference. From what I understood, they were going to completely get rid of the regional conferences and go with the new Pike university idea.

Pike University

Supposedly they are going to reveal exactly what Pike university is at the OLA conference in August. From what I heard it is supposed to be much more informative and focus more on chapter operations then the regional conferences usually do.
