what show had the best series/season finale?

*for those who arent with it:
series finale- the show is ending for good.
season finale- the show is taking a break for the summer (it will be back in the fall)

my fav. season finale was 'friends' when rachel found out that she was pregnant and we couldnt know who the father was.

my fav. series finale is 'the cosby show' when theo graduated from college. i loved the final scene when cliff and claire danced off the set to the studio audience.

series - "Cheers" because it didn't tie everything up neatly - you got the feeling that the bar was still going on and I liked that.

season - "Melrose Place" when Kimberly took off her wig. (I think that was a season ender.)

series finale: tied between Seinfeld with the trial, Life Goes On when Becca told her son the story of her childhood and young adult years, and the second of bob newhart's shows when he woke up in bed with his wife from the first show and started telling her about the weird dream he had where he was married to a woman who always wore sweaters.

season finale: Friends and the letter "we were on a break" thing...that was a season finale, wasn't it? i can't remember but i loved that episode

I don't know...I was very disappointed with the last Seinfeld episode. I thought it was a bunch of crap!

Beverly Hills, 90210. We all knew David and Donna were going to get married, but I was in tears when Donna asked Nat to walk her down the aisle. Then I cried again as they said their vows. After a while, you grow up with everyone...and then you feel sentimental and nostalgic when it all ends.

The Cosby Show Finale. It was funny the whole way through [BEACH CHAIRS!] and it seemed like any other ordinary episode. And the way Cliff danced Claire off the set...it was classy and very appropriate.

Most overrated season finale in my opinion? Who shot JR? UGH.

I don't know if it was the season finale, it probably wasn't, but Michael J. Fox's last episode on Spin City was brilliant. So was Dr. Greene's exit from ER.

Geez, I could go on and on.

Season: Melrose Place. When Kimberly blew up the apartment complex (well it didn't actually blow till the next premiere, but she pushed the detanator).

Series: Dawson's Creek. Couldn't have asked for more from a finale. Kevin Williamson wrapped up everything perfectly.

Season: X-Files (before David Duchovney left the show)

Series: M*A*S*H. I cried. Lots.

Season: Buffy The Vampire Slayer- when she put the ring down on the floor and the beam of light comes up and Angel comes crashing down from the sky. I was FLOORED, and SO INCREDIBLY ANXIOUS all summer!

Series: M*A*S*H- that was possibly the most emotional televison moment in my life. I was too young to watch it when it first aired, but my dad made me watch it later on when I could understand the magnitude of it all. Amazing.

Well my best season ender was also the worst series ender, b/c it turned out to be the end of a series! Anyone remember possibly the BEST series ever "Now and Again" with Eric Close, Margaret Colin, Heather Matarazzo, and Dennis Haysbert? It was about a genetically engineered man kept secret by the government. His brain was transplanted from the body of a man and this man had memories of his previous life and he desperately wanted to get back to his wife and daughter. Well, in the series/season finale, he escaped with his family and that's ALL WE KNOW! IT ENDED SO WELL AND SO POORLY!!! ARGH! NO CLOSURE!

I thought they ended "Providence" well, with Syd's wedding. The series was on the bubble anyway, so this was a great way to end it.

Series Finale = Dawson's Creek

Season Finale:
1) Friends: The one with Ross and Rachel first getting together, where he's standing in the doorway of the coffeehouse.
2) John Doe: Very good finale for a new show...suspenseful and surprising!

Series finale - Seinfeld for sure!! HYSTERICAL! And Felicity...fabulous! I miss that show. And Dawson!

Season finale - Friends, when Ross is marrying Emily and he says "I Ross take you Rachel". Also, Melrose, 2nd or 3rd season, when Kimberly comes back from the dead and whips off the wig with the HUGE gash scar on her head. 33girl, it should be coming up soon on Style network, if you have that. It's back on!!! God, that was the best show!!! Also, ER, when Dr. Greene died...cried like a baby.
